Rage Unfold is a Virtual Metal duo from Bulgaria and Australia, made up of Bozhidar Popov on guitars, mixing, and production, and Marie-Louise Anastas on lyrics. Bozhidar’s fiery guitar solos and epic soundscapes create emotionally charged songs, and he continually hones his skills by studying music theory, jazz, and modern production techniques. Marie-Louise’s lyrics navigate uncertain terrain with depth, drawing inspiration from great artists like Led Zeppelin, Fontaines D.C., and Joy Division.
Since forming in 2022, Rage Unfold has produced seven songs, including instrumentals, and has gained traction on YouTube with 1.2 million views between May 2022 and September 2024. This is their new single, called My Division, which features fantastic guitar riffs and a great arrangement, very 80s and in between a few genres. The verses are pure Thrash Metal (Anthrax, Metallica) but with some prog bits and with some spectacular guitar solos.
