Revengine - False Dream

Early 2007 saw the launch of Revengine. This Alice In Chains, Therapy?, and Faith No More–inspired Alternative Rock–Heavy Grunge band is from Lapua, Finland, and they have earned a lot of praise for their albums.

Revengine stands out because of their ability to appeal to both grunge-rock and metal listeners because to their variety of sounds, which include guitar and vocalist Antti Jokiranta, bassist Juha Järvelä, drummer Jouni Yli-Rantala, and guitarist Mirko Honkanen.

This is their new single, called False Dream. The song starts straight away with vocals and the mood brings me immediately back to my beloved 90s. The vocals get more and more intense (as well as the guitars) exploding in a pure grunge chorus. In general, I really like the contrast between the verses and the choruses and the performance of the band is spot on (check also the tasty bass lines and the guitar solo). Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow the band on social media.
