Alt-rock powerhouses GIRLBAND! drop “5AM,” a fierce, guitar-driven single ahead of their self-titled debut album arriving November 13th, 2026. Flipping traditional rock 'n' roll tropes on their head, frontwoman Georgie penned the track at dawn after being inspired by her girlfriend's 70s-rockstar swagger—crafting an unapologetic, lusty love anthem that celebrates obsessive desire and the thrill of secret, late-night queer romance.
Packed with irresistible, tasty basslines, a peculiar solo section and an infectious, high-tempo groove, the single features a razor-sharp band performance and a massive, super catchy chorus that locks in from the jump. Backed by heavy radio spin from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, and tastemaker praise from Rolling Stone UK and NME, "5AM" captures GIRLBAND! at their most loud, fearless, and undeniable.
