Minneapolis grunge-punk five-piece Oister Boy are making serious waves with their frenetic energy, feral potency, and massive, thrash-infused sound. Formed in early 2022, the band has built a formidable reputation through a commanding live set, eccentric instrumental chops, a killer six-song EP, and even a run with a touring punk rock ballet. Combining raw power with undeniable charm, they stand out as one of the most exciting rock juggernauts on the scene today.
Their relentless new single, “Remember Me,” takes aim at the hubris and irony of legacy-obsessed, megalomaniacal jerks who constantly feel the need to assert their importance to the world while betraying who they really are. Written by drummer Seth Hynes-Marquette in his lead-songwriting debut for the group, the track showcases the band's multi-instrumental versatility—where every member writes, sings, and plays multiple instruments. Filmed across rural farmlands and abandoned homesteads in Le Sueur, Minnesota, the song's music video perfectly mirrors its rugged, anti-ego bite.
Delivering an explosive performance packed with heavy, dynamic guitars and a rock-solid rhythm section, the track hits with pure, unadulterated punk energy. Driven by stunning, aggressive vocals that channel serious Henry Rollins vibes, "Remember Me" is a fierce, top-tier anthem that grips you from start to finish.
