I 40 dischi fondamentali per John Frusciante

Eccoci qui per un articolo vagamente informativo. Beh, in realtá piú che informativo é curiosita pura. In attesa di di vedere nuovamente il chitarrista John Frusciante alle prese con i Red Hot Chili Peppers (sperando di poter risollevare il livello, a mio parere infimo, delle ultime pubblicazioni in studio), potete leggere e prendere ispirazione dalla sua lista di dischi che lui ha reputato fondamentali per la sua carriera e per la sua educazione musicale.

La playlist, stilata ai tempi per Discodogs si chiamava John Frusciante: 40 Albums You Must Hear e vede artisti come Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Syd Barrett e tanti altri. Ok, adesso vi lascio la lista completa qui sotto e vi posto anche anche un video a caso dalla foltissima discografia solista di Frusciante, dove forse potete riconoscere meglio le sue influenze, rispetto alla band madre.

Io e John abbiamo gusti abbastanza differenti e francamente alcuni dischi della sua lista non li conosco proprio (ma colgo ora la citazionie dei Bow wow wow, presenti nel testo di Right on time di Californication) ma vi metto in grassetto i dischi apprezzati parecchio anche dal sottoscritto.
