The Rolling Stones - A bigger bang live on Copacabana beach (2021) - Review

Here we are, talking about The Rolling Stones, an institution in Rock music. The band just released a great live album recorded on the 18th of February, back in 2006 when 1.5 million people crowded onto Copacabana Beach. By now it’s one of the biggest (free) concerts in music history.

After something like 15 years the concert is now available as a film for the first time and it was also remixed, re-edited, and remastered. A Bigger Bang - Live On Copacabana Beach is available in the following formats: Are you ready? There it is: DVD+2CD, SD BD+2CD, 2DVD+2CD Deluxe, 3LP (on blue, yellow, and green vinyl, see picture above), 3LP pressed on clear vinyl and, of course, on all digital platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, etc.

Considering that it was a free concert for everyone, the setlist (see bottom of the page) is practically perfect: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and the band performed immortal Stones classics like Jumpin' Jack Flash (great opener, isn't it?), It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It), Wild Horses, Brown Sugar (you can watch the video at the bottom of the page to see the band in a great shape and with a Mick Jagger super active as always), Start me up, Sympathy for the devil and lots of other hits from the vast catalogue of the band alongside with new (at least, at that time) songs from A Bigger Bang album like Oh No, Not You Again and Rain Fall Down, one of my favourites of the performance.

I know, there are tons of Rolling Stones live albums out there so maybe you don't need to buy this one as well. But If you want to do it, you surely won't be disappointed by A bigger bang live on Copacabana beach.
