The electric petals - Wild at heart

The sound of The Electric Petals came together in the summer of 2020.

They have outfitted a 1950s log cabin into a recording studio, located in Temagami, Canada. The studio serves as the perfect music-creation getaway, free from the distractions and noise of the city: No phones, just music. The Wild At Heart LP began production as a demo in June 2020. The first band session came together during a spiritual group experience in the Old-Growth Forest on Temagami Island, surrounding 'Tall Pines Studios'. They explored their classic rock roots in the week-long session and dove into creating the music. They came away with 9 demo tracks and The Electric Petals were born.

Those 9 demos were developed into the full-length 11-track LP Wild At Heart that they are releasing on November 19th, 2021. The project is entirely self-funded, produced by the band, and mixed by Nyles Spencer at The Bathouse (The Tragically Hip, Half Moon Run) They are currently back into the studio working on our second LP, releasing in 2022.

What attracts me about Wild at heart is mainly the sound of guitars, both acoustic (very present) and electric, with a good and classy solo at minute 2.20.

You can give it a go by clicking on the player below and don't forget to support and follow the band.
