The Connecting Dots are a Swedish band led by Helena Sundstrom on vocals and Johan Borg on guitar. They are headquartered in Stockholm and influenced by Big Star, David Bowie, Prince, Suede, Depeche Mode and Lana Del Rey. Direct Lines Records released the debut album "Oblivious Beat" on vinyl in the spring of 2020, followed by one-off singles "Dream Lover," "Racing With The Moon," and "Invisible Traces." The songs of the band are highly poetic, covering topics such as time, escapism, and large city aspirations.
