Alex, a Filipino-Chinese born Australian, is the principal vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter for N4November as the only member. The project started in July 2021. "I chose N4November instead of my real name, Alex, since I didn't want people to think of simply me when they listened to it; I wanted listeners to adapt my music to their lives," Alex explains.
N4November is influenced by bands and artists like Taylor Swift, The 1975, 5 Seconds of Summer, Paramore, With Confidence, The Maine, You Me At Six, Waterparks, Nothing But Thieves, Palaye Royale, and We The Kings.
