Bison Face - Mallrats

Bison Face is an alternative rock band from St Albans, England, founded in 2019 by Ernie Hill, the frontman, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Hill's high school classmate Alex Bowden joined as a second guitarist soon after, and the rhythm section is now a rotating cast of skilled pals.

On July 30th, the band's third single, 'PRIVATE JOKE PARTY,' was released, earning the band a spot on Amazon Music's 'Best New Bands' playlist and a sold-out hometown headline gig after 22 months of Covid.

This is their new single, called Mallrats, starting with a very energetic guitar riff followed by punk drumming. The vocals are punchy and aggressive but with a good melody. It reminded me of an old band I used to love, The Almighty (check them out if you don't know who they are.)
