Pink Leather Jackets - Sixteen Forties

Four guys from Toronto, Canada, known for their excellent harmonies, perform punk-rock songs at the top of their lungs as Pink Leather Jackets.  Lead Singer/Guitar – Chris Woolley, Guitar/Backup Vocal – Nick Rendeiro, Bass/Backup vocal – Nathan Colucci, and Matt Bellissimo on the drums finished second in the 2020 Rocksearch competition hosted by 97.7HTZ FM, have been nominated for a Mississauga MARTY award, were recently highlighted on 94.9 The Rock's Generation Next, and are now scheduled to open for Stereos on their forthcoming southern Ontario tour. Since then, they have released their debut EP Good Love, talked with Ed The Sock, and most recently released the rocking songs "What You're Doin To Me" and "Downtown Livin'," which were mixed by Dave Schiffman (Red Hot Chili Peppers, System Of A Down).

On September 30, "Sixteen Forties," their new single, was released. What I like about it is the pure punk attitude, the general performance with inspired guitars, a solid rhythm section and very catchy vocals, all helped by a perfect production, giving the right sound and kick to every single instrument. You can listen to the song by clicking on the Spotify player below and you can follow the band on
Facebook and Instagram as well. Enjoy the song!
