Nothing Special - Julia

Nothing Special is a young, energetic band from the Toronto/Durham underground scene that is fueled by humour, hard-hitting riffs, and a love of music. Dan Bell on vocals and guitar, Gabriel Higazi on vocals and guitar, James Carr on bass, and Spencer Holmes on drums make up the group.

The group is eager to release their second EP, which Dave Schiffman produced (PUP, Jimmy Eat World, Red Hot Chili Peppers). To support this EP, Nothing Special will embark on a 35+ concert Canadian tour in early 2023.

This is their new single, called Julia. The production is absolutely fantastic, and the song sounds very energetic and well performed by the 4 guys in the photo above. A dynamic and very precise rhythm section, inspired guitar lines and very well performed vocals. Talking about vocals, the chorus is very catchy and it will probably get stuck in your head for a bit.
