Song of the day: The Shell Collector - Oh Boy

Enrico Tiberi, a musician from Berlin, is the creator of the band The Shell Collector. The project allowed Tiberi to test out some of his best ideas and riffs, fusing Rock, Pop, and Progressive with cinematic, psychedelic, and classical aspects. The band's debut full-length album, Medusa, was released in May 2014 and was influenced by acts like Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, A Perfect Circle, Them Crooked Vultures, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin. Gianluca Gulino (HBRD, Magnitudo, Ex-King For A Day) on bass/vocals, Marco Gennaro on guitar and Kay Ketting (The Sunpilots) on drums/vocals complete the current line-up.

This one below is their single, Oh Boy, starting with a super heavy and contagious guitar riff. Vocals are robust but melodic, and the rhythm section is very creative, powerful and precise, absolutely spot on. The song is amazingly performed by the band (check out the solo section too!) and it sounds very powerful. This is a great song, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow The Shell Collector on social media as well.
