Song of the day: The Carbons - Good News

The Carbons are a rock trio from Western Canada that are renowned for their multi-climactic live performances, deep, resonant vocals, and massive, groovy drums. Their debut album, August Ash, is a 10-song groove rock journey that starts in the shallows of young adulthood and gradually delves into more difficult aspects of the human condition, such as temptation and mental health.

Two Canadian music icons, the Trews and Sloan shared the stage with The Carbons. They have now played over 70 shows in six provinces in support of their debut LP, appearing on storied stages like The Horseshoe Tavern, The Roxy, and The Fox. X92.9, Power 104, The Wolf 106.9, and Rock 97.9 among other commercial radio stations in Canada gave them featured radio plays and interviews as a result.

This is their new single, called Good News. The song starts with a nice guitar riff from where we can immediately notice the production's quality. The vocals are energetic but catchy at the same time (great chorus), the rhythm section is very solid and the guitar solos are very inspired. This is a very cool song, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow The Carbons on social media as well.
