Song of the day: THE HYBRIS - Impostor Syndrome

Three friends formed the international alternative rock band The HYBRIS. They create our music in a joint virtual recording studio and reside in Nice, Los Angeles, and Cologne. They portray Ringo Rabbit, Beanie Bison, and Malcolm Mandrill in our musical tales as comic book characters. Impostor Syndrome is about a familiar feeling that we all have: not being good enough. Not good enough to produce anything worthwhile, not good enough for relationships, not good enough for your job. It's a conversation with a kind friend.

This is their new single, called "Impostor Syndrome" which is about a familiar feeling that we all have: not being good enough. Not good enough to produce anything worthwhile, not good enough for relationships, not good enough for your job. It's a conversation with a kind friend.

I like the pace of the mood of the song, starting "quietly" and exploding in a very catchy chorus. I also really like verses with filtered vocals but, what I like the most, is the unpredictability of the song, which sounds very fresh, vibrant and dynamic. "Impostor Syndrome" will surprise you many times during the listening and it's very well produced and amazingly performed by the band. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow The HYBRIS on social media as well.
