Song of the day: Robert Jon & The Wreck - Bring Me Back Home Again

Robert Jon & The Wreck are Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Steve Maggiora (keyboards, backing vocals), Henry Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals), and Warren Murrel (bass). 

This quintet's musical adventure from southern California began in February 2011. Within six months, the band had not only begun a coast-to-coast national tour, but had also published their debut album, "Fire Started." 

"Rhythm of the Road," released in 2013, includes new, edgier songs that just add gasoline to the fire that Robert Jon & The Wreck kindle while performing. 

 

This is their new single, called Bring Me Back Home Again. I love the guitars and the general mood of the song, full of melody but punchy as well. Both production and arrangement are spot on, as well as the band performance (check out the amazing guitar solo!).
