Bobby Watson - Thrown Off The Wagon

Bobby Watson's journey to Nashville has been tortuous and unusual. He's had a half-dozen life in as many places, and the one thread that tied them all together was music. His music reflects his worldwide playlist and lifetime love of singing. The songs highlight Watson's enormous depth as a singer, with a concentration on genuine lyrics and a soulful delivery that is drawing a devoted following.

This is his new single, called Thrown Off The Wagon. The artist says about it: This song is about having good intentions, but also about having good-time friends who aren't going to let you get away with just a couple drinks. I co-wrote this song with Lee Tucker, JC Andersen and Justin Dukes at Banner Music. It's a fun drinking song reminiscent of 90s honkytonk music. To capture the vibe, it was recorded with studio musicians who played on many of those 90s hits. It's the first single from an EP that will release in October. EP release show and promo campaign scheduled.

I love its contagious mood, the perfect production/arrangement for the genre and the overall performance, with a super catchy chorus that will probably get stuck in your head. This is a quality song from every point of view, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below follow Bobby Watson on social media.
