Song of the day: Dry Run - Denied

Since establishing in the latter part of 2022, Dry Run have been ripping through Brighton, putting on high-octane live events. They've been described as the "catchy love child of the Melvins and Mudhoney," combining large succulent riffs with hook-laden rhythms.

Their new track "Denied" touches on grief, this time of a broken promise. The memories we created, the misconceptions we debunked, and the thrill of being along for the adventure.

I love the energetic guitar riff and the pure grunge chorus (also great vocals there!), very catchy and aggressive. It's like diving straight to the 90s (I miss those times). This is a very cool song, very well played by the band and with the right sound for the genre. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and remember to follow Dry Run on social media.
