Lone Dread is a Greek heavy grunge band that started in 2019. Panos Korres (Vocals), Marinos Sofiou (Guitar), Fotis Kasimatis (Bass), and Vaggelis Papoutsis (Drums) formed a strong live group that rapidly gained a following. Lone Dread's 90s grunge sound, mixed with hard rock and metal elements and dark and angry lyrics, makes categorizing the band difficult. That is what distinguishes them. Consolation Day is their first public release of their upcoming EP in 2023. Giannis Damianos recorded and mixed the entire EP, while Fotis Benardo (Devasounz Studios) recorded the drums.
This is their new single, "Nuclear mind". The main riff is super catchy, the rhythm section is very solid and supports the song amazingly and the vocals are very inspired and well performed.
