Soda Cracker Jesus is the rock-n-roll brainchild of singer-songwriter-producer Regan Lane. SCJ's influences range from punked-out Kinks or XTC to a sound tinged with late-era Beatles psychedelia and Pink Floyd's Syd Barrett years. 

SCJ's four singles, My Anthem, Drug My Soul, Kill It Tomorrow, and Kaleidoscope, have all been broadcast on over 100 independent radio stations and peaked on the renowned independent Alliance Charts, including multiple #1's. SCJ was nominated for the 2021 Artist of The Year on Music Mafia Radio.  

This is his new single, called "Might Need A Gun". The song starts with a catchy riff and I really like the vocal lines during the verses, melodic and energetic at the same time. The song has a peculiar structure and arrangement (great guitars and super catchy chorus) and I find it overall very original and also very well performed and produced.
