Henry van der Zwan - Behold! (Feat. Derek Sherinian)

Henry van der Zwan, who was born in Haarlem, the Netherlands, began playing guitar at the age of 15. Although the instrument was always present from a young age. He listened to hard rock and metal (NWOBHM). At home, he heard a variety of music. Jazz, classical, pop, rock, disco, and funk.

Henry's first full-length album, 'Soaring Over Clay', was published in January 2023, following the publication of his first EP (Sketching) in 2021 and his second in 2022 (Grass & Scroll, with guest artist Derek Sherinian) and an EP in 2023.

This is his new song "Behold!" Features Derek Sherinian on Keyboards (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Alice Cooper, Black Country Communion, Dream Theater, Sons of Apollo amongst many others) and is a Melodic Metal Instrumental track with Symphonic Sounds and landscapes!

The song is quality from every point of view, performance, production and arrangement. I love the riffs, very old school and the dialogues between keyboards and guitars, reminding me of Deep Purple. Give it a go and follow Henry van der Zwan on social media as well.
