Black Sun - Rise (Official Music Video)

Black Sun is an Ecuadorian-Finnish melodic heavy metal band founded in Ecuador by Nicolas Estrada (drums), Christopher Grünberg (guitar), and Santiago Salem (bass). The band collaborated with Finnish producer/mixing engineer and Thunderstone guitarist Nino Laurenne (Amorphis, Lost Society, The Rasmus). Netta Laurenne (Smackbound, Laurenne/Louhimo) also joined the band as lead singer.

After releasing the songs "Slay The Queen" and "Drown in Sin", Black Sun pushes through with another single release, the third one so far, called "Rise", a mellower track than previous releases, with a melodious and melancholy, yet strong sound, and it is accompanied by a quality video. This song is a cry to empower and urge oneself to rise over one's physical or mental struggles.

A great song (and a great video too!), enjoyable from start to finish, with catchy vocals, a stunning guitar solo, and the usual great performance by the band. Give it a go and follow Black Sun on social media as well.
