The Pulltops are a Milwaukee-based duo that plays a catchy combination of alternative rock, power pop, and rock. Drummer Mark Pierret and guitarist Tom Crowell were both diverse record collectors who hit it off right away when they formed their first band together. While Mark leaned heavily on classic country and soul music, Tom was more influenced by the experimental and underground movement.

Red Eye Open Sky and I find it extremely catchy and interesting from the first second. I love the dynamic and inspired drumming and the mood reminds me of early R.E.M. The song has the perfect sound for the genre and it's amazingly arranged too, with very cool guitar parts.
