Another Damn Disappointment - Lights Go Out

Another Damn Disappointment (A.D.D.), a Sacramento-based punk band, has been a force in the scene since 2001. Influenced by the Epitaph/Fat Wreck bands of the ‘90s, they’ve crafted a sound that’s loud, dark, and deeply passionate. Over the years, they’ve played Vans Warped Tour twice and shared the stage with punk legends like Authority Zero and Guttermouth.

Despite facing immense loss—including the tragic passing of founding bassist Casey Marsullo in 2016—the band persevered, channeling grief into creative energy. Their latest album, Bedlam, recorded before Casey’s passing, stands as a testament to their resilience and evolution. Mixed and mastered at the iconic Blasting Room Studios and featuring artwork by Joel Abad, Bedlam is more than just an album for the band; it’s a statement.

Released this week, it includes the standout single "Lights Go Out", a track that truly represents their sound and spirit. I love the energy, the pace, the punk attitude, and the production, perfect for the genre.
The vocals are energetic and catchy (great backing vocals during the chorus), the rhythm section is unrelenting and very precise and the guitars are always inspired. A very cool song, enjoyable from start to finish. Give it a go and follow Another Damn Disappointment on social media.
