Electric Cherry was born from the shared passion of four musicians for the rock sounds of the '70s, '80s, and '90s, crafting original music inspired by those eras. The band consists of Alessandro Santucci (electric and acoustic guitars, lap steel, mandolin), Christian Ferrara (vocals and guitars), Stefano Sforza (bass, keyboards), and Giorgio Spila (drums). Their journey began with singles like “Right or Wrong” and “Fly Away From This,” leading to the release of their debut album ELECTRIC CHERRY in 2021. By 2022, they had reached the final stages of a Sony Music contest, earning recognition from Rolling Stone Italy.
Now, with a new album set to launch in May 2025, produced by Alessandro Forte, Electric Cherry continues to make waves. We saw on these pages the second Anyway you want (click for the article).
The third single is called QUARANTINE, featuring ANDREA RA. "It's a song about cages, the physical ones, the social ones, and the personal ones we all have and from which we all try to escape.", says the band. I love the pace and the mood, the contagious guitar riffs, the pounding drums, and the catchy vocals (check out the chorus!).
