Let Burn - Ema Wine

Raised in the electrifying heart of Camden, London, Ema Wine was born in 2002 and shaped by the pulse of its legendary clubs, tattoo parlours, and graffiti-streaked alleys. Now 23, she embodies the raw, gritty essence of Camden’s underground rock scene—her voice unfiltered, her lyrics razor-sharp, drawing inspiration from sweat-drenched nights at the Underworld, the chaos of Camden Market, and the lingering spirits of Amy Winehouse and punk icons. On stage, she channels a visceral energy, oscillating between dark melancholy and fierce rage, captivating audiences with her presence. A rising force in the alternative scene, she blends dark elegance with provocation, her signature style—fishnets, leather, and vintage band tees—reflecting the rebellious spirit she carries.

Her new single “Let Burn,” explores themes of detachment, resilience, and self-assertion through the eyes of a 23-year-old London woman. I love the song, the contrast between the calm verses and the explosive chorus, super intense and with a stunning vocal performance. One of my favourite songs of the year, so far. You can find it in my Best of 2025 playlist. Give it a go and follow Ema Wine on social media.
