Tuk Smith and The Restless Hearts is an American rock band from Nashville. The band released their debut single "What Kinda Love" in 2020 and were an opening act for The Stadium Tour with Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe on the same day.
Then came COVID-19. “When the pandemic hit, it was like hitting the reset button on my music career,” recalls Tuk, “everything got taken away…album campaign, stadium tour, record deal. The world was in lockdown, and the only way to escape was to throw myself into writing. My thoughts began exploring the past, and the inspiration for the songs just came in tidal waves.”
“Troubled Paradise” is the title of their new song. "It’s about chasing the thrill of something bigger, even when it costs you. Big guitars, big hooks — somewhere between Green Day, early Springsteen, and Cheap Trick", commented the band. This is the first taste of what’s coming in their new 4 track EP and it's a great start with catchy guitar riffs, a classic rock mood and a super catchy chorus, that will get stuck in your head.. A quality song, with a great solo section as well, amazingly performed and with a perfect production for the genre.
