Zach Tabori is a fearless sonic explorer, blending prog, electro-pop, and experimental sounds with bold guitar work. His 2022 albums, Hard Boiled and Soft Boiled, showcase his virtuosity, while his orchestral opus, Rotten, trades guitars for avant-classical chaos. Rooted in rock’s history yet endlessly inventive, Tabori’s playful style reflects a lifelong passion for music, shaped by years of self-taught mastery and boundary-pushing creativity.
We saw his latest single, JFK, on these pages (Click for the article), and now it's time for his brand-new one. “THIN WHITE SHIRT” skewers the confused, toxic libido of the average heterosexual American male in the age of evolving gender norms and crop-top “free-the-nipple” post-new wave feminism. It’s part comedy, part cultural psychoanalysis, delivered with a nod to 70s art rock absurdism.", explains the artist. I love the mood, the sound, the energy, and the performance. I find the song very interesting and with lots of different and interesting parts. I love the guitars at 1.58, for instance, my favourite part of the song and the System of a Down style, finale.
