ZFM—featuring powerhouse vocalist Stephen Shareaux (Kik Tracee), guitarists Drew Fortier (The Lucid) and Brynn Arens (Flipp), bassist Chip Z'Nuff (Enuff Z'Nuff), drummer Mike Heller (Raven, The Lucid, Malignancy), and pianist K. L. Doty—is set to unleash their debut full-length album, Anthology, on July 18 via SpoilerHead Records.
The record draws inspiration from a wildly eclectic palette—think the doom-laden grit of Black Sabbath colliding with the theatrical flair of David Bowie, all filtered through the genre-blurring spirit of Faith No More and the melodic punch of Cheap Trick. It’s a boundary-pushing debut built on legacy but driven by reinvention.
The one below is 'New Leaf,' a quality song featuring catchy vocals (check out the chorus!), a fantastic production and arrangement, and is very enjoyable from start to finish, with lots of tasty details, an amazing solo section, and great drumming in the final part.
