The Digital Life Project (D.L.P.), led by Roby Deaton and Craig LeMay, builds on their legacy with a nod to '70s and '80s symphonic prog-rock, infused with a modern flair. Their layered compositions weave complex rhythms and catchy melodies into a vibrant, 21st-century sound. Following 2022’s ‘The Fifth Element’—which explored Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and the unifying power of Music—D.L.P. returns with 'DIGITAL LIFE', released April 2025 via Germany’s Progressive Promotion Records.
Their new release is called Digital Life, which describes interaction between Mankind and A.I. technology, with a twist. "
New Beginnings" tells a story of the beginning of that interaction. It's an old-style proggers, with lots of variations in terms of mood and pace, tasty solos, quality arrangement, and a fantastic performance.
