Forged in Chattanooga, Tennessee, HIVESONG emerges as a rock duo determined to reignite the pulse of rock & roll. With equal measures of grit and glam, they summon the cosmic flamboyance of Ziggy Stardust, the crushing heft of Sabbath, and the razor-sharp riffs of Royal Blood—blending these elements into a sound that’s both raw and electrifying, yet unmistakably timeless.
The duo describes their new single, "Love Is Pain": "This song is a velvet sledgehammer of rock and gloom, wailing straight from the altar of heartbreak. It marches like a funeral procession through the wreckage of obsession and heartache. This is a sermon for the damned — a fuzz-drenched anthem about love’s sharp edges."
I love the riffs (the bass sound is super cool), the dynamic drumming and the catchy vocals. The thing I like the most is the dark atmosphere of the song, with a punchy chorus (vocals are great!) and a fantastic production, perfect for the genre. A quality song from every point of view, with a great solo section as well. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and remember to follow HIVESONG on social media.
