Grimm Jack has a long history as a hard-driving melodic Rock Band in the New York City music scene. Billy Kohout, the lead vocalist, contributes whiskey-soaked vocals with a hint of southern blues. The guitarists are Joey Masters and Jimmie Mack. The backbeat is provided by GG Zen-Garten.
Their new single is titled Like a Rose and it's a very enjoyable song with catchy vocals (check out the chorus), radio friendly but 100% rock, with fantastic solos and punchy guitars. The band performed amazingly and the production is perfect for the genre. They present it this way: "A Rock n' Roll song about over indulging and nothing to lose. And you come up smelling "Like A Rose".
