Stal in Steel - Interview

Hi and welcome to this interview. Tell us about your latest release.
Hi, first of all, thank you so much for the space and I'm very honored to have this interview.
On January 1st, we released our first album, "Soy el poder" (I Am the Power), a concept album dedicated to the rebirth of humanity in the new era and the fall of the veil, or Matrix.

How would you describe your sound?
Due to our shared musical tastes, we start with a foundation of melodic hard rock, blending it with new trends in Nordic and American metal to create a fresh and modern blend.

What do you write about?
In these eight songs, we talked about the end of an era, religion and power, the fall of the Matrix, the spirit and its physical vessel, and much more, always trying to convey a positive sense and a bit of hope for the future.

What do you listen to when you are home?
I believe music is a universal language, and from folk to country, from blues to heavy metal, my preferences are very diverse and vary from day to day or over time, from Dylan to Rainbow or Alter Bridge and Europe, maybe Heroes of Silence or Red Baron, basically a bit of everything.

Your favourite live performance so far?
I think our concert in Madrid at the Zona del Metal anniversary four years ago was fantastic; we had a lot of fun.

Tell us a funny story that happened in studio or on stage.
Once, while we were making a video, I broke my guitar. I turned around without realizing there was a pillar, and I broke the end of the neck.

Your favourite albums?
Start from the dark (Europe)
Blackbird (Alter Bridge)
Live rust (Neil Young)
Espíritu del vino (Héroes del Silencio)
Planeta escoria (Ska P)
Running on empty (Jackson Browne)
Basically, a little bit of everything

A musician you would like to meet for a beer?
Joey Tempest.

What would you ask for backstage, if you were the most important band on earth?
Backstage, I'd like a spa and masseuse for after the show 🤣🤘 and, of course, plenty of beer.

What are your plans for the near future?
We're currently working on the production of our second album, and there will be lots of surprises along with live performances and streaming.

Thanks for everything, you're fantastic, long live Rock & Metal.
