Dead Summer is a high‑energy rock duo from Victoria, BC, formed in 2024 by Nate Prevedoros and Michael Wilford. Drawing on the raw power of Royal Blood and The White Stripes, they’ve quickly made noise on the West Coast. Their debut at a packed Capital Ballroom proved they can command big stages, and with festival slots and two summer releases ahead, they’re already a band to watch.
I love the sound of their new single, Sweetly, very modern but also old school in some aspects. The song is amazingly written and performed with fantastic riffs, catchy vocals and a very dynamic rhythm section. A quality song from every point of view.
