Shropshire rock unit Chasing Mallory blend distorted guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and dynamic dual-vocal ranges into an unpredictable, high-octane ride. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Remy Faith alongside guitarists Danny Zak and Oli Smith, bassist Dave, and drummer James Patterson (grandson of Mott the Hoople legend Ian Hunter), the band pairs raw rock energy with major radio pedigree. Having landed airplay on BBC Radio 2 and featured Eurovision’s Monokate (Go_A) on their single “Hating Heart,” Chasing Mallory is pure, unapologetic musical chaos.
I find their brand new song, called Static, very eclectic and in between a few genres. I love the super dynamic drumming and the catchy vocal lines (check out the chorus!). The song features a stunning solo section too. A very cool one, with a quality production too, that will get stuck in your head.
