The Austin-based quartet Ne’er-do-well channels the stadium-filling glory of arena rock and pop-punk, delivering a sound Guitar World dubbed "blistering, high-energy, metal-fired rock 'n' roll." What started as a solo project for frontman/guitarist Bryan Rolli has transformed into a relentless four-piece live outfit, tearing across Texas alongside major acts like The Dirty Nil, Knuckle Puck, and Pollyanna.
The band describe their new song. "Not Worth a Dime" has a simple message, but it packs a punch. A righteous ode to living loudly and rocking out at all costs, it blends '80s hard rock / glam metal riffs and melodies with modern punk aggression.
I love the energy, the pace (great drumming) and the mood, catchy fast and taking no prisoners. The production is perfect for the genre and the band's performance is absolutely spot on (check out the guitar solo!). A quality song from every point of view, part of the playlist Rock Rotation.
