Formed in London in 2019, Red Light Acid Test crafts a heavy, warped take on alternative rock. Driven by choppy rhythms, staggered guitars, and dark, melodic vocals, the four-piece has built a reputation across South East England for their intense, no-holds-barred live shows.
Their new single, “Skin on Skin,” is a dark love song between passion and obsession, walking the tightrope between devoted lover and stalker. The single was recorded by Mercury Prize-nominated producer Ian Davenport (Gaz Coombes, Slowdive, Band of Skulls) at his Oxfordshire studio.
I love the dark mood and the pace. It features killer vocals, very cool guitars (check out the solo) and a fantastic rhythm section, very precise and dynamic. A very cool song.
