Gray Soul Pennies
emerged from Sweden in 2019
with a desire to provide rock at its finest. This rock n' roll band
delivers songs about love, anger, and life with vigour, passion, and a
lot of attitude. Kim Lilja sings, while Erik Sköld plays lead guitar,
Andreas Strandljung plays rhythm guitar, Anton Hansson plays bass
guitar, and Kristoffer Hernesten plays drums.
This is their new single, called “Burning Way Too Fast” is "about watching your kids
grow up. One day you’re tying their shoes. Before long, they’ll be
asking for the car keys, says the band. I love the pace and the mood of the song, amazingly performed, produced and arranged and with a catchy chorus that tastes like 80s but with a modern twist. A quality song, energetic but catchy and easy listening.
