Ebba & The Flat Tire Band - The Ferryman

Stockholm-based blues rock quartet Ebba & The Flat Tire Band has announced their first single, “The Ferryman,” from their upcoming third album, set for release on October 23, 2026, across all major platforms. Loosely inspired by the myth of Charon, this heavy blues rock track and its accompanying music video playfully explore who gets to decide between life and death.

Built on a powerful riff, a strong chorus, and featuring guest organist Errka Petersson, the high-energy tune offers a glimpse of what the new album might bring. The release is paired with a DIY music video in which the band dresses as politicians for “Operation Ferryman,” where each inhumane decision leads to surprising consequences. The Swedish rockers blend 70s rock with a modern soundscape, mixing blues rock, garage, and psych in the tradition of Led Zeppelin, Rival Sons, and Black Sabbath. Their résumé includes two studio albums, major tours in Scandinavia and Spain, a praised performance at Sweden Rock Festival, and opening slots for Blues Pills (SWE) and Rosalie Cunningham (UK). Fronted by guitarist and vocalist Ebba Bergkvist, the band delivers heavy riffs and improvised jams for an electrifying live experience. Alongside Bergkvist, the lineup features Adam Randolph on drums, Jonas Skeppar on guitar, and Björn Björnehult Korning on bass.

With its energetic riffs, rich melody, and irresistibly catchy chorus, the song boasts perfect production for the genre and a stylish solo section. Featured in the Rock Rotation playlist, it’s well worth a listen—follow the band if you like what you hear.
