North Hollywood alt-indie band Jet Lag Fuel channel the raw power of early '90s grunge and the vibrant energy of the modern LA scene into a signature sound that is loud, gritty, and fiercely melodic. Founded on a shared love for heavy-hitting, guitar-driven rock, the five-piece lineup—featuring guitarists Filip Ilic and Jacob Dendy, bassist Carlos Ritchie, drummer Daniel Brown, and newly appointed lead vocalist Rob Liebelt—delivers a formidable, tight-knit sonic assault.
The band commented on their new single “Same Old Round”, from m their debut EP titled "The Lockout" "This song is about repeating patterns even after you are aware of them. You catch yourself in relapse and feeling lost in a fever dream that distorts your senses. You’re wondering if anyone can hear or understand you, all while trying to grab ahold of anything to pull yourself out." I love the riffs (great bass lines) and the contrast between very aggressive vocals during the verses and the melodic chorus. It's amazingly performed and with the right sound for the genre as well.
