Danish heavy hitters The Slowstarters serve up a pure, unadulterated dose of hard-hitting "draft beer rock" straight out of Kolding. Packing a classic, full-throttle lineup—Tobias Dalby (vocals), Frank Lange (guitar), Peter Mikkelsen (guitar/backing vocals), Pauli Tjørnudal (bass), and Dennis Nielsen (drums)—the five-piece builds their signature sound on massive riffs, blistering guitar solos, piercing cowbell, and infectious hooks meant to be screamed with a cold drink in hand.
Following up their acclaimed 2022 debut, the band delivers peak pub-rock swagger on their release Dirty Little Angel. Standout cut “Aim To Please” showcases the group at their absolute best, driving a rock-solid rhythm section and infectious guitar work beneath soaring, melodic vocals. Highlighting a fiery, top-tier guitar solo and crisp, punchy production, it’s a high-energy, feel-good rock anthem designed for maximum volume from start to finish.
