Gli Iron Maiden di nuovo in tour (in USA, attualmente).
E' cominciato ieri sera per promuovere il nuovo album The book of souls (clicca qui per leggere la recensione)
Un paio di commenti,
- Guardando questi video (ma anche altri che girano in rete), ho trovato un Bruce Dickinson stranamente non in perfetta forma (a livello vocale). Spero vivamente sia un problema di "prima data" (oppure un problema passeggero) e non gli strascichi dei problemi di salute che ha avuto.
- La scaletta, per me fan di una vita, sempre punto debole della band (monotone e ripetitive).
La scaletta di questo tour mi soddisfa leggermente di più. Ci sono tanti estratti del buon ultimo album, ci sono canzoni non troppo inflazionate dal vivo (Powerslave, Children of the damned) e si chiude in maniera diversa con Wasted years. Si, vabbè, ci sono The trooper, The number of the Beast, Hallowed be Thy name, Iron Maiden e soprattutto Fear of the dark (di queste, soprattutto di quest'ultima, penso non ce ne libereremo mai), però in generale leggermente meglio del solito, diciamo.
