The Sound And The Fury - Alpha and Omega

The Sound And The Fury's story began in the '90s Kansas City suburbs when high school friends Jeff Wood and Aaron Ogle formed a musical partnership. The band, which included Jay Kassen and John Floyd Whitaker, stabilised in 1998, merging '90s grunge and '70s metal elements. Their grunge-inspired sound evolved to include stoner rock and anthemic melodies. Following an extended break, The band returned in 2019 with new enthusiasm and went on a creative adventure.

This is their new single, called Alpha and Omega. I love the super-dynamic drumming and the riffing at the beginning of the song, setting the bar high for the rest of the song. The vocals are very melodic but punchy at the same time, with a very memorable chorus. The song is amazingly written, produced and performed by the band. A quality song from every point of view, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and remember to follow The Sound And The Fury as well.
