Black Steam is a Swedish heavy metal band that captures the raw energy of classic metal while adding a modern melodic touch. Formed in 2017, the band draws inspiration from legendary groups in the genre such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Accept. However, they have carved out their own identity with soaring vocals, powerful riffs, and driving rhythms.
Their new song, titled Rise Up, sounds fantastic (listen to the guitars!), and it features super catchy vocals, reminding me of Alice Cooper. I also love the solo section, very AC/DC and with classy bass lines. A quality song, very enjoyable from start to finish, and amazingly performed by the band.
