Over the span of 2 years I eventually landed on the story of the Greek/Roman afterlife for the content of the lyrics, and gave some extra spunk to the story of heading to the afterlife over the River Styx. It was recorded in Nashville in January 2025 with Charlotte Avenue Entertainment. The other vocalist on the song is a friend of mine who came down to support me with the recording who we threw into the vocal booth unexpectedly when we realized we wanted more power in the choruses."
