"Gonna Be Your Man" is the new single from the British rock band Broken Gods.
This high-octane, dance-inducing track blends country grit with classic rock charm, channeling the spirited vibes of Aerosmith, AC/DC, and Nickelback. The story unfolds in a lively bar where a stunning woman turns heads—and our spacefaring frontman Jaeko, the band's smooth-talking intergalactic lothario, sets out to win her heart.
I find the song extremely enjoyable from start to finish, easy listening but energetic, and with a perfect sound for the genre. The vocals are very catchy (the chorus will get stuck in your head), and the band's performance is spot on. It was recorded in March 2025 at Damage Audio Studios, the band teamed up with renowned producer Ben 'Faz' Farestvedt, known for his work with The Blockheads, Don Broco, and Sarpa Salpa.
