Ophelia Moon is a Philadelphia-based musical collective led by Darren O. Moon, who serves as the principal songwriter and one of the group's lead vocalists. Sharing vocal duties and instrumental composition is Maya Mikity, whose artistry shapes much of the band’s sonic landscape.
Their incoming release, "Avatar: Encryption Code," offers a haunting reflection on the perils of artificial intelligence. I really like the atmosphere of the song and the spot on performance and production. It's a moody song, with catchy vocals and a very interesting musical journey.
