Quick review: Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine

Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine

Release date: 6th November 1992

Line Up:
Zack de la Rocha: vocals.
Tom Morello: guitars.
Tim Commerford: bass, backing vocals.
Brad Wilk: drums, percussion, production.

What I enjoy the most:
The riffs are fantastic, and I love the production as well, very simple but effective. Also, Tom Morello tricks. Overall, it's not my genre (I prefer another type of vocals), but there are fantastic songs on this debut and a super influential album in the 90s, apart from being original and experimental, in many ways.

What I didn’t like as much:
If I have to find one thing, I'd say the initial riff and the solo section of Wake Up. Sounds too much like a Led Zeppelin cover. Apart from that, despite not being my genre, it's a great album.

Rating 85/100
