Wild Oceans - Bloodbath

Fueled by the legacy of the great guitar bands from the past two decades, Wild Oceans is an alt-rock group featuring Jon Burnell on vocals and guitar, Mark Lee on bass and keys, Phil Thomas on lead guitar, and Connor Tregido on drums. They’re all about creating music the way it’s meant to be,  live and loud.

I love the sound of their new song, Bloodbath, produced by the legendary John Cornfield (Oasis, Muse, Supergrass, Stone Roses) at the iconic Sawmills Studio. Lyrically, it tells the story of a deceitful lover who keeps getting second chances, even though deep down you know they’ll never change.

The song is powerful but contains melody as well, with inspiring guitars, a super solid rhythm section and catchy vocal lines, amazingly performed. A quality song from every point of view and enjoyable from start to finish, very 90s in lots of aspects. Something in between Incubus and Oasis, to my ears. Give it a go and follow Wild Oceans on social media as well.
