5) Influences
Some of my guitar influences are Yngwie Malmsteen, Criss Oliva, George Lynch, Chris DeGarmo and Michael Wilton, Jon Drenning and Ben Jackson. Band influences: KISS, Metallica, Crimson Glory, Queensryche, Fates Warning, Savatage, Testament.

6) What do you write about?
Denny writes the lyrics so that each listener can decide what they want them to be about. Makes for a more personal experience

7) Your favourite live performance so far
Veritas has not had the opportunity to play live yet due to covid but we are looking forward to getting out since venues are starting to reopen

8) Tell us a funny story that happened in studio or on stage
My previous band had a real Spinal Tap type show. It was at a club called the Filling Station, so already people thought we were performing at a gas station. The stage had no support in the center, so when our singer started jumping the stage started bouncing. Then the pyro we were using tripped the breaker box and when it was reset, it went off unexpectedly and almost set me on fire. Finished off by having the singer run to the island off the front of the stage and have it slowly roll away from the stage because it wasn’t secured.

9) Your favourite records
Queensryche - EP, The Warning, Rage for Order, Operation Mindcrime
Savatage - all the albums with the Oliva brothers
KISS - Alive
Fates Warning - Awaken the Guardian, No Exit
Crimson Glory - S/T, Transcendence
Yngwie Malmsteen - Rising Force, Marching Out

10) A musician you would like to meet for a beer
Jon and Criss Oliva, Ronnie James Dio, George Lynch.

11) What will you ask backstage if you were the most important band on earth
I’m not that demanding. Maybe good food and drinks
